Every new CrossFitter begins in our beginner class. You’ll Learn the ABCs of CrossFit — we’ll guide you through the foundational movements, the lingo, familiarize you with the format, and get your body primed to join our CrossFit classes.
Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time.
Our Barbell Club follows set cycles ranging from the introductory level to more advanced cycles prepping lifters for WODs or competition. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique and strength or want to pursue lifting as a sport, this barbell class is for you.
In today’s busy world, it’s hard to find the time to get regular exercise. So it’s important to make the most of the time you have. Maverick CrossFit offers a wide range of personal workout programs to help you achieve your ideal body. Your personal trainer will develop an exercise regimen suited specifically for you, whether your goal is to gain muscle or lose weight.
A “Full Session” is 60 minutes of one-on-one attention from a Trainer or Coach, designed to be a complete session from warm-up and skill development to conditioning and cool-down stretching.
A “Skill Session” is 30 minutes spent with Trainer or Coach focusing on a single movement or skill. This is a great option for someone looking for more personalized attention in developing a more complex exercise (like the Olympics lifts or gymnastics movements).
The best workout in the world won’t work without the right nutrition. We’ll help you find the right diet for your body type, goals, and particular health needs. If you’re struggling with certain health issues, or even if you feel “perfectly healthy,” nutritional guidance is critical to your success in fitness and health.
Base – For people who already have a solid grasp of basic nutrition and just need a little accountability! You’ll meet with our nutrition expert and set a custom Macro Profile based on your goals.
Revamped Nutrition – Our signature nutrition plan, this option is designed for people who would like more in-depth education and guidance about their own eating. We offer weekly access to your coach for more accountability when it comes to food choices and lifestyle habits to ensure you reach your goals!
Maverick CrossFit and The Scott Center for Autism Treatment have teamed up on a new program called ScottFit. ScottFit will introduce fun and challenging physical and team building exercises or “Brain WOD’s” (WOD=workout of the day) in a positive and rewarding environment.
The objective of the program is to promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and encourage the development of important social and life skills. The program will teach adolescents and young adults through the use of modeling, prompting, reinforcement, and role plays. The activities will focus on teaching imitation, following complex instructions, problem solving, cooperation, offering help, sportsmanship, conversations, and many more life skills.
